St. John's
PIM has been working with St. John Transit Commission since 2005, evolving its fare collection system in several phases, including conversion to an account-based system in 2021. Click here to read the Case Study
Corner Brook
PIM provided two Aries fareboxes, implemented in conjunction with the St. John’s system.
Barrie
PIM provided 10 Taurus fareboxes to Barrie Transit for their paratransit vehicles, using a mix of floor mounts and stanchion mounts.
Guelph
PIM developed and deployed its first account-based fare system for almost 100 buses in Guelph, including U-pass integration and Connect-to-GO.
Kingston
PIM deployed an electronic card-based system for Kingston Transit’s 80+ buses in 2008, and in 2022, was selected to upgrade the system to a fully account-based system.
Timmins
PIM provided and installed a complete electronic fare management system for Timmins, including 19 Aries-5 fareboxes for fixed route buses and six Taurus fareboxes for paratransit.
Thunder Bay
PIM provided and installed a complete electronic fare management system for Thunder Bay, including 48 Aries-5 fareboxes for fixed route buses and 27 Taurus fareboxes for paratransit.
Saskatoon
PIM provided and installed 150 Taurus fareboxes to complement Saskatoon’s electronic fare system, then upgraded the fareboxes to accommodate electronic payments and transfers.
Grande Prairie

Medicine Hat
In 2022, PIM was retained by Medicine Hat Transit to install an electronic fare management system, including validators, software, and card systems
Freedom Transit
PIM provided 17 Taurus fareboxes and spare cashboxes to Freedom Transit in Washington, PA. PIM will be installing a vault system in Freedom’s new garage, planned for 2027.
Milwaukee
